Production Log

This weeks' work involved the development of SunCoast's production log as well as entry logs intended to be posted. As weeks progress, I will be inputting weekly entries in a blog format. Production Log Entry #007 is first to be published and the remainder will be scheduled.

Website Construction

After the development of the website prototypes, I have been realising the concept of the homepage. In retrospective, I’m not content with the look and feel of the website thus far. I’ll continue with the realization of the prototype and improve upon the design from there.

Spreadsheet Editing

I have also been editing the master spreadsheet for the team. Updating the production checklist for the new assets that are required to be modelled. I’ve received feedback from various sources. I have been implementing these changes and will likely be implementing them next week also.

File Management

Leading up to the January submission, I have been making sure that all the files required for submission are ready to upload. Putting everything that has been worked on for SunCoast in a single folder and renaming everything to match a single file path format (naming conventions).

"I took the time to discuss things with people in the group such as Mo, with the Unreal Engine scene and Jack with the editing of the new presentation video, to be professional and keep everyone up to date and organized with what they have to do I made some simple MOUs for the team, following the layout the tutors gave us on one of our business lessons"

“Individual and teamwork write up for submission, rigging”

"My main aim of this week was to get feedback on my rigging work. I had my feedback from Michael and he even said I could have a meeting with him to discuss the rigging however I realised I could get everything done in time for the submission and was concerned.

As submission was on the 26th at 5 pm and the presentation was earlier in that day at 10am, it was getting very close. I had a one-to-one with Iliana and she mentioned that none of my rigging work (apart from researching the turtles and fish’s movements) needed to be done, and that was something I could focus on in the ‘Craft’ module."

"Taking her advice, I focused on doing my many write-ups for the various things I’d done. Bits and pieces of it were done, but it wasn’t very structured and I hadn’t done Harvard referencing in my research. I fixed this and went back through my documents to organise, edit and create the necessary things to flesh out my work ready for submission."
