Cost Estimations

Utilising research I previously conducted, I detailed a hypothetical annual estimate of the studio if and when SunCoast is established enough for an office space. The spreadsheet uses a basic level of aggregate functions which I have been learning to automate the process of adapting information throughout production.

Production Checklist

Realising that it was detrimental for my last university production, I constructed a production checklist that details every part of the project in significant detail. This checklist includes completion status of tasks, due date and who the element is delegated to.

“Christmas so not much, pipeline flowcharts, edits to pipeline bible”

"This week was Christmas, so as you can imagine I didn’t do much. Again, taking it easy a little as I went back home for the holidays."

"One thing I did do was do a back and forth with my dad. As someone self-employed and someone who set up several companies in the past in the CAD and computing industry, he was very helpful in helping me sort out the pipeline and how to test it, however; he hadn’t worked with charities before so I could only ask him general business questions and could reply on him more for technical issues. One thing he mentioned ‌is what I could do to visualize the process was to make flowcharts of the many processes that I will have to explain."

"So, with this tip, I got ahead of the next module and did some pipeline flowcharts to help me plan the pipeline bible I plan to make. This document will outline everything to do with the pipeline. This document is helpful for small inquiries that anyone might have and helping someone take over whole tasks if someone becomes unable to for whatever reason. The flowcharts help us plan what sections to add and what screenshots I’ll need, they also add a nice visual aid for those who just want to know the steps in their most basic form. These flowcharts will be added into their appropriate sections and explained fully with screenshots of settings and examples so no one is confused and it reduces the probability of someone accidentally doing it wrong."
