In order to communicate the core message of your presentation, there is an effective means to do so...

How to tell a story through the use of; What?, So What?, Now What?

WHAT?

What is the summary of the problem you are attempting to solve

"[There is a __________, a ___________ and a __________]"

e.g. OddWatch

"There is a problem that after university, students lose access to tools and facilities. In the United Kingdom, there are X% of students who feel they are unready for work. Graduates from Canterbury (CCC, UCA, CC] feel that (Y%) they struggle to continue working on their portfolio after graduating due to losing access to facilities"

SO WHAT?

What would happen if the problem were to go unsolved. What has your research told you?

"[The __________ is an issue which will present my intended demographic a hard time]"

e.g. OddWatch

"recent graduates will need to spend a large amount of money to reacquire access to the tools and facilities they had at university."

NOW WHAT?

What is the course of action? What do you need to do in order to solve the 'What?' and 'So What?'

"[A solution to the problem previously described]"

e.g. OddWatch

"A service is needed that functions as an extra step to prepare graduates for work and allows continued access to needed facilities."

THROUGHLINES

What is the core idea you are trying to get from your head, into someone else's head?

"A space that allows students to continue to use tools."

REFLECTION

"Something that I had struggled with is communicating the idea of my project. Part of that was due to the fact I was improvising the majority of the pitch to the class. Most likely a script would have avoided unnecessary confusion. However, this method might be worth a go. It can assist putting my idea in its most simplest form so that anyone should be able to understand it."
