November Pitch
As the upcoming November pitch was approaching and I was hastily getting all my research together after reading week, I stepped back and reflected on previous pitches.
Time and time again, I was receiving feedback that the idea was difficult to understand. A pattern was beginning to form of me rushing for a scheduled pitch presentations and failing at them as a result. The idea was going to take longer to mature than that of my peers' projects and rushing it, like with any product/business, would increase the likelihood that I would fail again.
I have no new visuals to present and there is no use rushing something through my prototype pipeline. With this in mind, I decided to forget about this November pitch and focus on the project as the grades.

I think that is something that separates me from SunCoast at the moment. OddWatch at the moment doesn't have any expectations. And so it shouldn't. It's an untested, immature concept. Having no expectations is a better position to Suncoast's current position, in my opinion. Their association with Ocean Generation bring a set of expectations that is uncertain SunCoast can meet (as the the business is untested and risky). I'll use my short term strategy to test the business, test the pipeline, continue working with friends and family to reduce risk and ensure that what I have is desirable, feasible and viable.
